Corinne says she has loved art from the time she was a small child doing drawings on the livingroom floor in Chicago. At age eight she won a drawing competition at school for her colored pencil drawing of two beautiful Tucans. That sealed her life's ambition to become an artist. After finishing high school she took a few courses in art at a nearby college. Corinne is basically self taught only having taken art classes one day a week for about a year before becoming a wife and a Mother. During those early years she was selling all her work on Sundays down at the Marina or local Southern California beaches. Though her work as an artist was in demand, it did not fulfill her responsibilities as a mother and provider, thus full-time employment was sought... And reluctantly her art had to be put on hold.
In the middle 60's Corinne was offered a position to work for the Warner Bros. Studios, and not long after became one of the first women in the film industry to become a Motion Picture Sound Editor winning many M.P.S.E., Emmy, and Academy Award nominations for her work. She was on staff for Warner Bros., and also worked for many other studios during hiatus doing many Television Shows, and Motion Pictures over the next 40 years. Now retired after a very successful career in flim Corinne is now dedicating all of her free time to her first love... Painting! Corinne loves painting almost all subjects from landscapes, to ocean scenes, to people. Her greatest passion right now is bringing attention to the wildlife on this earth which are endangered, and some of which even headed for possible extinction. She paints from her heart and hopes that you will love her artwork as much as she enjoys expressing her feelings and emotions in her pieces. We hope her paintings touch you as much as they have us.
